The Swiss-Grand Bali is situated on Bali's southern peninsula, in the well-known Nusa Dua resort complex and adjacent to the Bali Golf and Country Club. The hotel is just 15 minutes' drive from Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport, and within easy access to Denpasar, Sanur and Kuta.

The shopping village of Ubud, a centre of Balinese painting and fine arts surrounded by great temples, is but a short drive away. The most important of the temples is the Temple of Besakih (Pura Besakih) on the slopes of Gunung Agung, which has over 80 shrines to the various gods and spirits; Pura Ulun Danu stands out against the backdrop of the smoking volcano of Mt. Batur. The picturesque temple of Tanah Lot set on a huge rock and completely surrounded by water at high tide, is well worth seeing, especially at sunset.
